Align
A classic Katonah Yoga™ class weaving metaphor, geometry, breath, and imagination into a dynamic, well-rounded practice. We’ll explore measured alignment, patterned movement, and poetic theory to organize your body, open your imagination, and expand your capacity. Expect clear cues, creative sequencing, and the signature Katonah blend of effort and insight that leaves you feeling grounded, spacious, and inspired.
Hips
A slow, low, Katonah Yoga™–style practice dedicated to undoing all the sitting we do all day, focusing on the body’s “first floor”—your pelvis, legs, and feet. Through supported, deliberate poses and intelligent geometry, we’ll explore stability, mobility, and alignment all around the hips and lower body. Expect deep opening, grounded strength, and a clearer connection to the foundation that carries you through every pose—and every step—of life. All levels welcome.
Restore
A deeply rejuvenating Katonah Yoga™ restorative practice designed to unwind the body and settle the mind. Using blankets, bolsters, and other props, each posture is fully supported so your body can release tension, your breath can deepen, and your nervous system can recalibrate. Expect poetic metaphor, gentle guidance, and time to linger in stillness—leaving you rested, grounded, and renewed.
Suitable for all levels.
Flow
A dynamic breath-led practice that cultivates fluidity, focus, and presence. Poses are linked in rhythmic movement and/or held briefly to maintain motion and clarity. May include pranayama, chanting, or meditation. A classic old school vinyasa class.
Move
A dynamic, strength-based class designed to enhance joint mobility, build muscular control, and take your body through its full range of motion. Using intentional movement, strength drills, and mindful coordination, you’ll develop the stability and freedom that up-level your yoga practice—making poses more accessible, fluid, and sustainable. Expect to move with purpose, challenge your edges, and leave feeling strong, supple, and empowered. An advanced class suitable for anyone ready to deepen their practice.
Yin
A healing, meditative practice designed to release deep layers of tension in the body and mind. In Yin Yoga, postures are held for several minutes to gently stretch and hydrate the connective tissues, improve joint mobility, and cultivate stillness. With the support of props and mindful breathing, you’ll settle into a space of deep rest and quiet awareness—balancing the busyness of life with calm, grounded presence.
Suitable for all levels.
Mat Pilates
A full-body, low-impact mat workout based on the classical Pilates method. Emphasizes core strength, breath control, and precise movement to improve alignment, tone, and flexibility. Accessible to all levels, with or without yoga experience.
Props
A creative, ever-changing class that explores the power of yoga props to transform your practice. Each week, we’ll vary use of blocks, straps, blankets, chairs, bolsters—and sometimes unexpected household items—to make poses more accessible, reveal their true archetypal form, and build greater strength, stability, and awareness. Props don’t just support you—they empower you, guiding the body toward precision, depth, and new possibilities. All levels welcome.

Nap
Rest is not a reward—it’s a requirement in any healing journey. In most wellness offerings, true rest is often overlooked. This free 30-minute class is our gift to the community: a space to pause, restore, and replenish. Each session may include a guided savasana, yoga nidra (non-sleep deep rest), or a body scan meditation—simple, powerful practices that calm the nervous system, support healing, and leave you feeling renewed. Come as you are, and let yourself rest.
Breathe
Your breath is the bridge between body and mind—the quiet power that can calm your nervous system, sharpen your focus, and restore your energy. Yet most of us go through life barely aware of it. This free 30-minute community class is an invitation to reconnect with the most essential rhythm you have.
Through guided techniques and mindful practice, you’ll discover how your breath can bring harmony between body, mind, and spirit.
All levels welcome.
